Elf on the shelf

Oh dear. I don’t think Eddie is learning as quickly as the children are! We have a healthy snack at break time Eddie.

I think Fred has had enough. We were able to use our ’Fred talk’ and free Eddie. We’re getting good at that now. Perhaps Eddie will try harder to do the right thing from now on.

Pupil voice and termly targets

We will be sending home a pupil voice sheet this week so please look out for this in book bags. On the sheet it asks for the children to comment on anything they have enjoyed this term and what they would like to learn about next. We have also included current targets for each child so you can see what we have been working on in school. Here are some files to help with these targets at home.

Red words (words you can’t sound out so the children have to recognise)

Green words (simple words the children can sound out to read and write)

Forest School

To finish our topic we will be visiting Forest School on Wednesday 15th. We will be completing lots of different activities and having a bonfire. If your child doesn’t have waterproofs in school, please make sure that you send in wellies and waterproof clothing e.g a puddle suit, into school by Wednesday.
