Non-Uniform – Thursday 10th March 2022
This half term our school value is ‘kindness’. Therefore, our focus is on demonstrating this core value in all that we say and do, how we live our lives and interact with people and the world around us.
As current events develop and the situation in Ukraine escalates, we cannot ignore the need to support this humanitarian crisis in whatever way we can. So we will be holding a non-uniform day on Thursday 10th March for a donation to The British Red Cross who is providing support and aid in Ukraine as a DEC member (Disaster Emergency Committee). The money raised will help The British Red Cross get food, medicine, shelter, first aid, clean water and warm clothing to the people affected by this conflict. (donate.redcross.org.uk).
We appreciate that there are other fundraising charity events coming up in the next few weeks, however, as a Rights Respecting School, we feel we must do all we can to help make a difference.
